The Mirage, an oasis in the middle of the desert

It's been a while since my last post, mainly because I haven't utilized my camera in quite some time. I did however bring it along on our vacation to Las Vegas this summer. I actually had to read up on my post production skills to hammer this one out. Hope you enjoy it!

Black and white

My first black and white conversion, from the shoot I had with my brother a couple of weeks ago. Personally, I don't think the web browser does it justice. If you're using firefox, you should enable true colors. It does slow down loading of large images a bit, but it's worth it anyway!

Tromsø, Norway Panorama

This is a 14 shot panorama, taken at 3 AM in Tromsø, Norway (maybe the host of the Olympic Games in 2018 if all goes well). Edit (18/07/09): It did not.

Tripod: Giottos

Original image is 25025 x 3711 and JPEG size is 72.9MB with full quality.
Photoshop file was about 260MB after stitching, cutting and editing.

Animal Frames

A couple of small picture frames I picked up for my girlfriend while shopping for electronics at one of the larger stores here. If only they'd make a pig...

Blue Nun

From my first attempt at shooting inanimate objects inside a lightbox. Also a first attempt at shooting just glass. I really liked the way the color of the bottle came out, although I would've liked to get it with less highlights along the body and a more crisp label.

The Real Audi

My favourite Audi of them all, the Audi R8. The sound, lines, LED use - everything is extremely well put together. I only wish they hadn't put it in a glass enclosure..

Dramatic

We tested a few different poses and lighting schemes - a few came out cool and others where just awful. This is one I think came out pretty cool. Very little work in PS.
